Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

It'll be bad

I know of a dozen people that are quit or plan to in the next month it’s gotten so bad. Between that and layoffs on Thursday how bad is it going to get for the rest of us that are left without the luxury of quitting?

This is one of the things I’m most worried about too. Our team was already spread thin before all this. If even one more person gets laid off or quits, we’re sc--wed. We literally won’t be able to get things done. And the worst part is, they’ll probably blame us, not the fact that we’re each doing the work of two or three people and physically can’t take on any more. It’s just...I don’t even know what to call it anymore.

I know of many employees looking for new jobs including Senior Managers. They must know something we don’t. I think at some point the company is going to layoff off senior managers. Less employees to manage…

The term is overused at this point but this is when it's time to quiet quit if you haven't already. Just show up and do what you feel capable of and let everything else roll off you.

It's bad, yes, but try your best not to internalize all the bad stuff. You're good, Cigna is bad.
