We need to officially organize as a union if we want to get remote work restored. Just walking out opens us to being fired unlike official organized labor action which is protected by law.

Bosses may not be scared but if employees are unhappy productivity tanks. The bosses should be afraid of backlash from their shareholders. If a CEO is treating employees with disrespect in a recorded meeting and it gets leaked, that's bad news for the company's reputation which is bad news for the shareholders.
Accountability goes both ways, bud. There are already rumblings online, and shareholders can easily find this forum.
@bz+1jtk62728 what performance rating? We all get the same bullsh-t merit raises. The ones who do barely anything and those of us working our a-s of doing two or three jobs. It’s all bs and she has the nerve to say we’re selfish asking for fair wages. At this rate she should get bi--h slapped and exiled.
Bosses are not scared. Do what is asked of you if not your performance rating will reflect and you will be out of a job. Welcome to the real world.
Some of the Wisconsin branches are unionized. It’s not a far fetched idea to have that same union represent the rest of us.
Nice try, but no. Just remembering from many years ago when I was a new hire that unions were a BIG no-no, and was told so multiple times by folks far more senior than myself. If that's changed, cool. If I'm wrong about it, cool. I learned something new today.

Though I am not generally a fan of unions, I'll concede that it would be hilarious if GK's first accomplishment ended up being inadvertently causing the unionization of us bank.
Thursday the 8th, noon, all downtown Minneapolis employees, let’s stage a walkout and gather at government plaza to protest corporate greed.
Seems like these obsessive postings are only from a few individuals. If only you guys used the same enthusiasm and energy towards doing your work instead of making whiny posts then you wouldn't have to worry about losing your job.
It's illegal to fire someone solely for attempting to organize a union.

Again, you need to check the handbook on union policies. Anyone caught talking about unionizing will be immediately terminated. There's a zero tolerance policy.
Do with this information what you will. If you want to get fired, by all means.
Handing over money to a Union won't accomplish getting rid of her, unfortunately.
