Thread regarding Elevance Health (Anthem) layoffs

RTO details

Any idea what exactly will be monitored? Duration of visits at least 8 hours or lower threshold? 3 days every week? How are they accommodating vacation/sick time?

Big Brother! What happened about results? Complete the work vs the amount of time sitting in a chair for 8 hours under bright lights, cameras, half cubicles, loud call center like experiences. Unproductive.

It doesn't matter if the badge readers are installed at all locations. They will also be tracking your IP address for how long you are connected at the PP.

you have to be completely re--rded to get trapped in an office suite with a glass door. Id throw a chair through that su---r if I got trapped for 1 minute. If I was desperate Id human wrecking ball through the dry-wall but get stuck at work?! Never in your life!

dont ask about how long you have to be there. Asking will put ideas they may not even have in their heads.

They will tell you what they want from you. If not thats their fault.

Do you remember the lady that died at her desk and wasn't found for 4 days? i think she worked at Wells Fargo. Could this badge out reason be due to what happened to her?

PTO is not taken into consideration with amount of time needed to be in office.

They claimed in the email that the badge out scanners are only for security reasons at those offices. I feel if they monitor your hours in the office, they should install the badge out machines at all locations so it’s fair.

The company hasn’t figured this out yet. I think it’s better if no one asks questions about it rather than if everyone asks about it and then they need to come up with a policy. I think ultimately though it’ll be up to your Manager how long you stay at the office.

So for those people that are at the pulsepoints that have installed the exit readers (NY, ATL, DC, IN) does anyone know how many hours we have to stay in the office? I’ve asked my leadership and no one seems to have received guidance yet. Also, I believe I may be the only one on my team impacted by this change. Everyone else is in offices that don’t have to badge out.
