Wave 1 Timing for PSG < 25

I am hearing that people in the first wave will be notified verbally on May 12th and by email on May 16th. Also, that so many new positions are expected to be present that the Selection Reps may not know anything about them and you're on your own for determining if you should apply. (Job owners will not be available to you.)

Has anyone heard something similar?

If you don't get selected you are eligible to apply in the PDC. That's been stated a thousand times. The odds of landing something in the PDC are pretty much zero, but you can apply.

Email notifications for I’m scope employees are expected by 5/16. Internal job tool will open with limited-role listings — don't expect detailed descriptions or much representative interaction (hopefully your network is strong). Org charts will reportedly only extend to psg 24; those hoping to see deeper visibility into psg 25+ below, will be disappointed. Despite repeated cycles like this, leadership, ELP and HR still haven’t landed a solution for putting boxes on a slide. Best to prepare and explore external opportunities now. For those left standing, the most likely final day appears to be around July 1.

It doesn’t matter now because, sooner or later, they’ll be making cuts. You might get through this round, but there’s no guarantee for next year—once everything is running how they envisioned, more changes could come. Also, just curious—does someone need to bring this to President Trump?

What I have heard from my PO is the dates stated, May 12th and by email on May 16th, are for announcements to people if they are in scope for Wave 1. If you are in scope then you apply for jobs in mid may, then the selection for people is in early to mid June.

a lot of team leaders, or managers we just selected, they will select people under for the round at this month. Not sure if they can influence anything during selection.
