Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

What did I miss?! Everyone is going crazy and md after the call!?

So a lot of unhappy people on my floor, don’t know any of them because everyone I talk to is on Teams. Didn’t bother talking to to them to ask what’s up. I don’t play with angry bulls.

A lot of WTF and Bullsh-t heard.

What did CEO say to anger people? I am waiting for the replay. I usually avoid these calls since it’s mostly corporate bs.

Oh look it's Gunjan! Hi! Good job utterly destroying every little ounce of good will and high hopes you had with every single employee in your first bank wide call! with a single call you've gone from cautiously optimistic employees hoping for some improvement from Andy's term, to suddenly working with enemies hoping to see you fail.

Seriously??? She works in Pittsburgh and WFH, not in a hub, while we have to go iin Our cube!

Why isn’t she lid off? 2 weeks ago, anyone not in a hub in WCIB ops were laid off

The Pittsburgh office closed at the beginning of March 2025, I was based out of it. I am now remote, guess I should be worried.

Does U.S. Bank have an office in Pittsburgh? I believe she lives there. Why can't she relocate to the Minneapolis corporate headquarters? It's unclear why she's or other members of MC allowed to work from home while others are being asked to return to the office.

Imagine this is your first day at USBank and your CEO tells you that you are greedy and have no friends

GUNJAN.
Let that name sink in.
You know it, I know it, everyone knows it...the reason WHY everything in American business and commerce is turning to SH!T.

We've been sold out.
So DO SOMETHING about it.

  • Anonymously email everyone on the BOD and in no uncertain words, directly quote this GUNt's words stated in the call, and let them know how repulsive, disrespectful and unacceptable her "professionalism" is toward those who she relies upon to even have a job to begin with.
  • MOVE your MONEY OUT of this bank, and into LOCAL CREDIT UNION ACCOUNTS.
  • Get another job somewhere other than this snake pit.
  • Get BASED.
  • Do not do business with TREASONOUS TRAITORS who seek to DESTROY the USA!

Wow, glad I missed the call. Sounds like a psycho path, not a ceo.

Low morale? You are a sad and pathetic person and need to make friends

RTO? Tough, I don’t see the problem, don’t we all drive in a fancy car , have easy access to daycare and make $20 millions a year?

More pay? You greedy disgusting low caste person, how dare you talk to a high caste person

She’s so out of touch. When Richard held all employee meetings, people went to hear him and be encouraged. With Andy it was prizes or the money and waiting for the banks name to change to blockbuster bank and now, because it’s required. No one wants to work there anymore unless you’re in corporate. It’s just a paycheck.

OMFG...talk about being unprofessional...and this is how a "leader" behaves toward those she's supposed to be inspiring, and being a source of encouragement and trust for the future being better?

WOW.

"- countered a question about employee morale saying morale is not low and instead called the person asking the question an unhappy person suggesting they need to make friends

  • When an employee asked about pay increases, she called them selfish. Which is a pretty amazing thing to say to a low level employee when you're making $10M/yr.
  • She called working from home "nonsense"."

Holy sh!t...that's not only unprofessional behavior, it's sociopathic, and mentally deranged!

She ...
called our concerns about RTO and the pushback as nonsense
said they will understand and celebrate if we leave for another job (because we don't agree to their RTO policy)
countered a question about employee morale saying morale is not low and instead called the person asking the question an unhappy person suggesting they need to make friends

Had high hopes but she turned out to be a psycho who is speeding up the demise of this bank.

Basically fell apart at the Q&A.

She came off cold and basically said, if you don’t like working here, tough sh-t. Morale is high, maybe it’s just you, and we are going for more in office.
