This couldn’t have gone any worse for her. Not like she had any really fans in the company - we all know she was going to be a terrible CEO, but she’s not even hiding her contempt for employees any more.
Imagine hosting a townhall and telling your employees that they are "selfish" and their concerns are "nonsense"...

Very harsh. Many of us were stunned (shouldn’t be though right?) around some of her responses. I get the vibe of 5 days RTO soon. If you’re outside of a hub you’re gone. Layoffs will be happening, anything to reduce expenses 🙄
You know what's nonsense Gunjan? Being hired into a fully remote position, doing awesome in it and getting lots of rewards for my work, and then the bank changing the game midstream and forcing me to waste my time on a brutal commute with far less productivity to sit in a soulless cubical farm only to interact with everyone I need to remotely.

I liked the part where someone had a concern about wage increases and she told them they were being “selfish”. WOW.
Her non answer to the layoffs questions was pathetic and her response to the RTO question was insulting! Just remember, it may be an employers market right now, but tides always turn. As soon as the job market favors workers, more people will leave the sinking ship that is USB.
“A selfish perspective” more out of touch McKinsey trolls. Aren’t we all tired? Why can’t we vote them out when they aren’t doing a good job, instead of giving them a golden parachute.
My life concerns and circumstances are “nonsense “ wow lady, thanks a lot. I’m all about in-person collaboration but have some empathy for the people trying to make the RTO mandate work. SMH
It definitely was worse than I imagined. My first impressions of Gunjan would be hard to be more negative.
She called people’s questioning of RTO as “nonsense”. She wants people to quit, no doubt about it. It’s all about expense control for her.
This is my first insight into a snapshot of Gunjans personality… and all I can say is WOW. Buckle up everyone.
