Just a heads-up to anyone new here - don’t get too settled. UHG’s playbook is pretty clear: mass hires to pad stats (to make it seem like they're not only laying off older employees), then mass layoffs to please investors. Newbies are basically disposable in this cycle. Seen it happen too many times.

I want to be laid off but UHN didn't offer the buyout option to Optum employees.
And what departments are mainly affected by this?
Everyone is disposable. Game plan is to crew change and purge the expensive people and the old culture for cheap and pliable. Or best of all automation
