Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Layoffs are inevitable

I'm no longer wondering if layoffs will happen, only when they'll hit and how bad it'll get. I think we're now at the point where even the most shameless a-s-kissers and other loyal sycophants aren't safe anymore, and when that becomes the truth, you know we have reached a point of no return.

Keep in mind it is projected that the Lexmark acquisition will net around $150M in cot savings under the category: Organization Design. This was shown during last earnings call.

That is somewhere around 2,000 employees that needs to have their tenure "redesigned"

So, my guess is that further larger layoffs will happen around that time as well.

I can't believe Fl Operations is hiring drivers, our sales are down and no merit increases. How is this getting approved?

Xerox: a.k.a. "Layoffs 'R Us"
for at least 25 years, disgustingly poor corp. leadership, and they scraped the bottom of the barrel with the post-2018 set.

July way too late. Should have done what you are suggesting last week.

Look for them late in the quarter, beginning of July.

Earnings is going to dump, in reality, and vs the fictions spun in the last call. If they fire too may too early, the stock goes down. If they start right before the call they can use it as a selling point.

It was a little ominous that SB didn't play up layoffs on the call. I think they re looking at numbers much larger than the Reinvention number of 15%.

That call was a new low. He lied the analysts about pretty much everything.

How was this ever an “if”? You just got a new set of financials showing g a continuation of the revenue decline. That is going to continue because SB and his band of sycophants have not done anything to stop it. All you have to do to calculate the required headcount reduction is looks at the Q1 profit number, estimate how much expense reduction is needed for a reasonable profit, and divide by $100k. Every quarter….
