I don't know how true that is, but considering that someone mentioned it here, I wouldn't be surprised that there are cases of managers covering for some employees who don't show up in the office.
Why would exceptions be made for some? It's so frustrating.
Although I certainly think that RTO is a big waste of time, the main problem is the rampant favoritism here that demoralizes the other employees.

lol, a lot of managers doing social media now like LinkedIn or other places, I doubt they are doing any work at office.
It's all about Social Media. The recent hurricane in Florida was a HUGE Twitter Photo Opportunity. Leadership was on site...delivering food and water to stores to workers and had BBQ's...Looked great. How about working in our stores so there was coverage so we could focus on our families and our homes that were destroyed? That is what would be helpful...not Tweeting all YOU did for us. We needed time off. We needed relief. Just Sayin...Oh wait...I forgot...they don't know how to run our stores.
Delan covers for herself. She's no friend to anybody.
Brian King is covering me
Delan always covers for me.
leadership team is busy with social media stuff, they do not have time to cover you.
There are many people that don't come into the office. It's not an issue of a "cover-up" but more of a lack of the SLT setting expectations. If the SLT mandated the return to office or face a PIP then we'll see 99% of the employees back in the office.
....and not covering for those who aren't their favorites. Absolutely believe this is occurring.
Manager is out, what do you talking about.
