Anyone know if RTO is going to impact employees listed as virtual not near a pulse point?
From what ive heard the most recent one excused those listed as virtual.
Has anyone heard anything? Will thos people be looking at a layoff?

People who are hired years ago to be remote only, long before the pandemic, were still required to go into a pulse point if they were within the policy required distance. This was for the one day a week hybrid, so I don’t think it matters if anybody has a contract saying they are virtual. Everybody is subject to the same rules unfortunately.
They just announced that front line people that are virtual can remain so, and people hired into those roles can be virtual.
For people leaders, they will make some exceptions, but it's going to be hard to move up in the org if you cannot go in for RTO.
For those: Virtual, not near accessible Pulse Point. Are we on the chopping block? Does anyone know that conclusively?

I think you would be seriously blind to not see the writing on the wall for those who are “virtual” because they are too far from a PulsePoint. You are on borrowed time.
Also anyone that is virtual will eventually be hybrid or RIFd.
National Business just had a lay off - its coming for everyone
I heard that’s it’s another lay-off coming. We are now in May 5th, so by the end of the year
Another Layoff is coming. 13% of the employees. Company wide I’m sure.
I heard GBD requires some virtual employees to go into an office at least once a quarter since last year. But not sure how it’s determined because I know some that live very close to certain pulse points and they don’t have to.
FWIW, I’m a director and have not heard anything about RTO for anyone currently classified as virtual, regardless if they are near a pulse point or not.
