I know a ton of us are job hunting, including those freshly laid off. What companies are worth looking into? And for those who already left, where’d you land? Help a desperate soul out, please. I can't find anything that's offering even half decent compensation for the jobs they're advertising.

Interesting as everyone complains about OpenText salaries, the grass isn’t always greener.
Don't just focus on IT. Checkout other careers. Some of my ex colleagues became a teacher, counselor and etc etc.
The tech sector has seen 51,000+ layoffs in 2025, including cuts at Intel, Meta, and Google, with 23,486 jobs lost in April alone. Despite turbulence, 228,000 new roles emerged in January, and 476,000 active openings highlight demand for AI, cybersecurity, and cloud expertise.
Overall tough, it’s an employers world with people being unemployed for 8-12 months before finding employment
Are you from the Moon or Mars? You are not updated on what is happening on planet Earth. Job seekers are not in a position to choose employers nowadays. You are in a great luck if someone hires you.
