Layoffs over the last month?

Heard a rumor folks and contractors have been laid off over the last month?

Is it true and do we know what areas?

Contractors in BTS let go yesterday. I believe they were given a couple weeks notice.

Contractors can be let go at any point for any reason. Their agency holds the contract with Centene, not the individual. OP, do you mind posting which market? I have heard rumors Wellcare is still on the chopping block. But rumors are rumors, and until I have a confirmed lay off I'm just keeping my finger on the pulse of current situations.

It may be true in certain departments but I’ve not heard that it’s an overall theme.
