Thread regarding Elevance Health (Anthem) layoffs

Dear Hellevance leadership,

Your entire company despises you. You constantly spew empty corporate reasoning for RTO, making some people who earn next to nothing drive a freaking hour one way to your soul su-king offices. No one gives two sh--s about their work now. No one will sit at home on the weekend and jump on the computer to finish a few things or get a head start for the week. No one cares anymore. You’ve driven morale, bonuses, pay, and a desire to help this hideous company thrive straight into the ground. Your employee retention is appalling and your slogan about “improving the health of humanity” is laughable at BEST. You’ve now forced working mothers to secure already outrageously priced childcare, you’ve forced those who don’t succeed in an environment where there is constant chatter and background noise back into a 4x4 cube, you’ve pushed people to uproot their families in order to survive. You have no clue what real talent is because you’ve RIFF’d honorable, hardworking people while hiring from the outside a few weeks later. Your Town Halls are complete nonsense and we all gather afterwards to laugh at how out of touch you are. The fact that you are forcing a RTO, and making individuals choose a Monday or Friday speaks to how much you just don’t care. But yet, you still expect your faithful employees to sacrifice their mental health by forcing Career plans, career development, projects, PAC support, double the workloads, reduced pay, reduced AIP, cr-ppy benefits, learn this/learn that, volunteer, etc. The list goes on and on. But, you “couldn’t do it with out us” right? BTW, no one, and I mean absolutely NO ONE is buying the Forbes “Best Places To Work” accolade. We all got a great laugh out of that one! We’d all like to see a clean sweep of your jobs and will gladly celebrate the day that happens. How does it feel to constantly sh*t on your employees? I’m sure a free snack will fix this for everyone.

So if we return to office how many hours a day do we need to spend there? 4 or 8? The FAQ didn't say it just said, "your full work day".

“Those leaders” include me as a People leader manager and I have associates under me that have higher salaries than I do and I’m not bringing in “plenty of money” I assure you. I coupon and scrimp and save just like the rest. RTO was for anyone E14 above and a People Leader and Directors.

This place is a disgrace, a train wreck that can’t be fixed. Over here in Payment Integrity CCA it’s a nightmare and our staff VP is more worried about the Executive branch and negotiations of contracts which the VP should be doing then actually being a Staff VP. Over it…no idea how do the actual position they are in. There’s no one steering ship. Everyday is horrible.

The RTO is just leaders. Us worker bees don’t have to come in or change our current arrangement so I have no sympathy for them. They make plenty of money to drive in since they don’t lead anyway and are busy doing their own stuff not providing guidance for those of us on production. . Sounds like you are one of them so I hope you decide to resign. My manager shared with us the talk points that this is only for leaders which is good by me. I’m happy to keep doing what I’m doing.
