So the RTO rumors were spot on. What else is coming down the pike?

What's next you ask - AIP will go away and you will find out in Qtr 4 - they can get rid of it anytime for any reason, at anytime - has always been that way - that is the rule - by why tell you know - you know many "wait until I get my AIP before I leave" well...this is interesting get you to stick around for what.... a 2% merit and no bonus
I believe this may have been mentioned - but we will soon be required to swipe in and out of the office.
I am beginning to believe this is just a way to get the people leaders to quit do they can save on sub pay. This is probably a SLT cost of care initiative.
Today they came for the people leaders and people with director in their title. Tomorrow the come for you!
I am a people manager - I will need to come in 3 days a week to manage a team that no one else will be in the office- so I will be managing them over the phone from the office as compared to over the phone from WAH status. I will lug in 2 monitors and a laptop and all kinds of office supplies, set up my equipment, and supposedly have to stay 4 hrs. So take it all down, another 45 min to an hour in traffic - put it all back together to take it all down the next day for what and to talk to who - staff are not believing it will happen to them.
The RTO applies to people leaders AND Director equivalent…so people leaders and E14 +
Actually I think Managers and Directors need more supervision. Not sure how that really works out when Teams are spread across the country but I swear my last director spent all his time on his boat. Always showed away on teams, constantly blew off one on ones with no explanation and went against policy by telling me to swipe my badge and leave. I theory you would think they would need less supervision but you have a few bad eggs ruin it for the rest. Or maybe they realize they are top heavy and need people to quit voluntarily.
is another big re-org on the way? associates re-aligned to report to managers in their local office?
My manager lives in a different state. How are the going to supervise me by going into the office?
It only makes sense for directors, managers, and E14—you manage people and/or projects who, I can assume, do not all come in on the same day. What is the point of RTO if your direct superior is not there? I agree that everyone should be able to WFH if they have been doing it successfully, but it makes the most sense that management is there at a minimum.
It doesn’t make any sense for directors and up only. The higher the level, the less oversight should be required. Personally, I think we should all WFH, but to think this won’t be rolled out enterprise wide is wishful thinking.
I am manager and RTO is only for people who lead teams. Also I was just told there is not appetite to make this company wide because of space.
For now, it’s all people leaders (managers and above) and directors that are individuals contributors. This is company wide. If you don’t get the email, then you’re not a people leader or director that is an individual contributor. Check workday for your hybrid status. You might be lucky if your manager put you as virtual or field based, even if you’re closed to a pulsepoint.
It sounds like all associates RTO by 2026. It only makes sense.
It’s not just Directors and above its People Leaders E14 and above and Directors.
I’ve heard differently from several people who are in the know. Just directors and above and no one else. Stop rumor mongering to make yourself important.
RIF's coming so soon post survey? 🤔
I am a manager and RTO will soon be for all managers and above back 4 days out of the week by 2026. For all other associates it will soon be 3.
