Thread regarding CDW layoffs

Over billing customers?

Are any of you concerned with the occasional over-billing our customers? Is this happening in your departments too?

Nobody I know does it. But there is a Coworker I know that does come on this site and post lies about doing it.

Yes, those of us that work in certain departments all know we do this. Small bits that go unnoticed but add up. And the very top of our sales leaders know we do it and turn a blind eye or encourage it. I know it happens but I don't do it.

Are some of you living in a hole or just ignoring the truth. It's being done often. It is a plus for our company and our incentive targets. Usually done in amounts that go unnoticed but they add up.

There has been plenty of Overemployed individuals on projects who are billing the customer who are not working.

So it’s highly likely they are over billing in that matter. CDW managers are clueless of skillsets and what their employees are doing. WFH was a nice experiment. But it’s causing problems for this company.

Ignore her. If they want to tell lies about CDW they can. We all know the truth. Overbilling would be caught right away due to the controls in place.
We can continue to tell the truth even if she doesn't.

Communications is trying to protect the CDW name. They are paid to come on here and deflect from us telling you the truth.

I have to admit, my buddy said he thought it would be cool if we came to this site and spread lies about CDW. He also said we should downvote all the comments that told the truth. He said if we use different profiles we could downvote multiple times and he was right. I was going along with it but am starting to think this is the wrong thing to do.

Sadly it is true. I brought it up and yet it continued so I didn’t bring it up again and went along with the crowd.

This does not happen. Clearly this was brought to you by somebody trying to short the stock.

Did you really just post an article from 2013 about something CDW did 12+ years ago??? This is a Fortune 200 Company that sells $20B+ a year and all you can find is an article from over a decade ago?
Look, there are plenty of flaws in the company and this site does a good job of calling out poor leadership decisions. But making unfounded accusations of poor ethical behavior towards customers just seems over the line. Move on and spread your lies elsewhere.

This is industry standard. Overbill and put the burden of proof on the customer to get their money back. Most don’t even notice.
