Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

Find a way to leave

I used to think the constant stress and chaos were just part of the job, at least until I left. Now, working somewhere with actual respect and professionalism, it’s like I woke up form a dream (more like a nightmare). Funny how you don’t realize how broken things were until you’re out. If you’re miserable but telling yourself “it’s not that bad,” trust me: it is. Life’s too short to waste on a sinking ship.

Very happy I got sold with the Medicare business. Joined Cigna when they originally bought our business and it was a positive experience. The last few years went downhill fast.

I don’t think I know anyone happy here, none. We are all on the fence or actively looking and with it just getting worse by the minute they may get more than they were hoping for in mass exodus. People can only take so much.

I am not paid enough for this.
