I took the resignation package. Peeps, I saw the writing on the wall! With BT's townhalls messaging, his horrible death, the investigation by the DOJ etc. I wish I had not been correct. Know that you are NOT just a number or an FTE count to be reduced. You are valuable and worthy of all good things that will come your way. Does not seem like it now I know, but you will overcome this bump in the road and land at a place you were really meant to be. Take care of you and I wish nothing but the best!

Buyout does not come around that often so when it does it is a huge big red flag to leave since down the road things will get worse. A tough lesson to learn the hard way
Cool story bro
I honestly don't think anyone knows. I wish like the did the vsrp they did amass .eeti g and let everyone know the future plan.
How many of us will truely weather and make it?
I think even if you took the VRSP you should still apply for unemployment. Just state you were laid off when you apply they had stated in a meeting that the company wouldn't fight it. If I had known we would be laid off anyway I would have taken it. I stupidly thought we would be ok for the most part and could weather the storm. It seems they are getting rid of most of the company and I wonder how they decided who to keep.
And isn't it interesting the advocate team that stayed and got moved to another role. Protected by toxic leadership.
the way you use corporate jargon im glad you are gone. bye
What record do you think there is?
I want you to know that any future employers should not hold this situation against you. It’s completely understandable and beyond your control. This company is experiencing significant layoffs, and it’s a tough situation for everyone involved. Some people chose to leave because they recognized the challenges ahead, while others felt they had no choice due to state regulations affecting unemployment benefits. It’s a difficult time, and your feelings are valid.
Is the VSRP a voluntary resignation or a voluntary layoff? How will it show on your record for future employers and how will it make your employment record look?
I felt the same so I took the VSRP. Especially how nervous my leader was to present the "vsrp" opportunity and the specific phrasing they were using. You could tell it was a forewarning. I followed my intuition and took the leave.
