You speak the truth. I have the same experience every time I go a new doctor. They hate EH so much and spend much of the appointment complaining about what this company won’t cover. The services they’d like to give to me but don’t bother because it won’t be covered. Then it always seems like I owe an extra $150 bucks because of how cr-ppy they pay providers. It su-ks.

The worst thing you can do is go to an MD appt and tell them where you work - the first half of your appt is listening to how much you MD hates this place, how hard they are to do business with etc. This place is far from being respected in the community.

Elevance (Anthem) isn’t the same company it was and was nowhere near 370:115 years ago it was more balanced and stable. The name use to stand for something and that shipped has sailed. Gail needs to step down and my not sure how the board cannot see this is? Gail is completely out of touch with associates with no engagement, her ideas have cost the company millions of dollars, and she has zero invitations working in a tech driven healthcare realm.

I wouldn’t be able to lead a company with the lies, manipulation, and propaganda that are feed to us everyday and sleep peacefully. This is truth 370:1…that’s Elevance…it’s not members or making healthcare better for everyone it’s all about profits and looking good to the boar d to save their positions. It’s absolutely sickening. 370:1 it’s insulting to every working associate who works above and beyond trying to do right by our members truly believing in making healthcare better everyone…it’s all a farse. We are easily replaced and more and more will be off shored by Global Solutions or A1. 370:1 unbelievable.

I was doing the work of 2.5 people for years, and I never complained once thinking I'd be looked over for a RIF since I was grinding out work... getting 2% raises and "Meeting" were my rewards. I was Rif'd late last year. Its so disgusting that I lost my job so someone can make 370 times my meager salary. Very much "let them eat cake" mentality. I was used and tossed away so a Millionaire can continue to rake it in.

It’s sickening as someone with a moral compass I wouldn’t be able to justify this salary knowing so many colleagues do without because of poor salaries under the VP of Staffs. 370:1…it’s numb feeling to know how much I push everyday without resources, technology, and paths to only line the pockets at the top. Sometimes working 10-12 hours because there is a thousand work arounds because there a single platform that holds a source of the information needed. Us in CCA (Carelon Complex Clinical Audit) are sickening we can’t keep up and there is no funding then the slap in the face with hardly a merit or any AIP. I can’t stomach this anymore. Time for a new adventure.

370:1…. and Gail doesn’t blink an eye. She wouldn’t know how to engage with fellow associates as the reality is she doesn’t care. The executive team doesn’t care…it’s whatever is cheapest and brings the most profit. It’s all a game of chess moves. Don’t give more energy than your job should take don’t over work yourself when they could care less about you as long as you can work a 3 person job yourself and a 12 hour day and not complain about pay, lack of resources, outdated technology, and no funding. It’s slave labor. Our salaries are the bottom of the barrel.

Our members and fellow associates deserve better than these stats. 370:1 is sickening. The whole Executive branch should be reevaluated for effectiveness and appropriate use of company funding…our cost savings would increase more than any other initiatives we could put together x1000. Gail needs to step down I agree.

As a Manager leadership busts our chops about doing more with less, more A1, pushback on FTEs needed that Executive leadership that signs off doesn’t understand where the money came from these positions but yet look at these stats!!!! No funding really!!!!! I am sick of it!!!! Some how us associates need to band together get this out to the public more on how chaotic it is here and how poorly we are treated. Gail needs to retire…she is completely out of touch.

Outsourcing is pushing down the pay. Without government intervention, our pay will need to be the same as offshore in the long run.

Pay is getting lower.

I’ve been here almost 15 years and I see new open positions that have the same starting salary I got when I started.

I would not recommend the company anymore.

Little by little, certain benefits watered down. Sub-inflation level pay raises, etc.

Plus super biased hiring practices. Only here till I’m retired or laid off.

The Elevance executive team is not worried about anyone’s lives other than profit. Any community programs, donations, volunteer hours are tax write offs and or part of funds that have to be spent with member premiums.

Agree as a Manager and have worked for United Elevance’s salary is much lower. Now AIP was better but not as of last year and I think that will be on trend here AIP will be a sunsetted benefit. So now low pay and a joke of an AIP/merit. Plus Elevance has reduced greatly the salary ranges for new open positions.
