Your system will still work through the end of the day. I canceled future provider meetings but I was not able to tell them why. I cleared out my emails and my desk top and looked through job postings. Very sad day.

Insurance Solutions has a block today about “reorganization” with M&R. Just said be prepared for meetings. With this layoff, are they giving any additional time to stay to close out work or is it immediately? Is there a package they are offering?
You can't assume all teams operate the same way. On my team in PEx, we got the meeting invite the morning of the layoff, Wed 4/23. The 15 minute meeting was individual with the Director. We don't have supervisors. We report directly to managers and they didn't know about it and got laid off as well. Individual meetings had nothing to do with being on a CAP. Maybe it's up to the person who has to deliver the news how they want to handle.

Touch base meetings are done by sups not managers. So if you get a touch base by a manager you would prob know right away what it is. But it sounds like a couple people here were singly layed off if you were crying together and layoffs are usually done in groups. Sounds like some may have been on CAP and let go or something.
What departments are y’all in that’s getting these meetings?
I was laid off Thursday it was a 15 minute meeting that said touch base I could feel it in the pit of my stomach that’s what it was for to lay May off my manager was so sad and we were both crying about it and I prayed with my manager this was sad!
Mine said Mandatory Meeting. I was let go Wednesday morning. My boss and I were both crying. I have moments when I feel ok and then I go down again. It has been a sad week.

Yes the announcement part is iffy, I would rather be taken off guard and if nothing happens how long are we safe for? Seriously this is stressful and emotional drainage next level. What departments do we know the meetings are in.

That's sh!tty that they put the 15 minute meeting on your calendar now so you worry for the next week.
