Any word on specific groups within c&s?

It's natural to wonder about the future of our phone/chat department. In a year, will we still be here? There's a lot of uncertainty around whether AI will take over these roles and what that means for us. It's a thought that many of us share, and it's important to recognize how we feel about these changes.
Just wish I did not need the unemployment I would have taken it. I dread work every day and the fear of the unknown.
They only mentioned the Service Hero bit in response to someone else stating the ones laid off were all under achievers. They were just making a point not bragging.
Service Hero is nothing to brag about just another popularity contest in my experience. I see someone with this in their email signature and think great all hat no cattle avoid like the plague
Actually if you google something to the effect of 'does DEI play a role in who is eliminated in a lay off' it clearly says Yes. So there may be some truth to this.
On the contrary I think those left were spared to keep the company in good standing with DEI policies. The ones let go were the over achievers.
What dept lost 80-90%. That is a lot and scary.
We lost between 80-90% of our dept including our managers. You insinuating that we were all “under performers” proves that UHC does prefer their employees to be dense with below average intelligence. I can see why they kept you.
If anything they probably eliminate those making a decent amount in their pay grade
I was cut today and I wouldn't say those cut were under-performers. I have been nominated for Service Hero twice and won once. My reviews have always been above average. To insinuate that the ones let go were under-performers shows your lack of intelligence and empathy.

No specific groups. Just across the board. Underperformers being cut. If you are in the meeting, you're safe. The ones let go were dismissed early today.
