Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

Employee Assistance Line

As a victim of the Cigna layoffs and to add insult to injury, when you call the Employee Assistance Line you get someone in India who won’t transfer you to someone in the US for help regarding the end of your health insurance. That place is a complete disaster yet they layoff the folks who can make a difference but middle management gets in the way. I’m embarrassed to say I ever worked for that company.

My best day at Cigna, was the day I received my package. I feel deeply sorry for those who remain .

Please thoroughly read the new Alight policy they show you, and require you to agree to, before you sign into Alight from your home computer. One of the paragraphs states that you are giving Alight to obtain a copy of your browser history, which will show you visiting this website.

It is unfortunate cigna HR and management have not used traditional procedures and support for employee layoffs since around 2008 - this is a major shortfall and embarrassment, employees deserve better.
