Several people in the C&S division of UHC in Govt Consumer Operations were laid off today. It has begun.

What dept was laid off that didnt get offered the package? This is so disheartening. Way to ki-l morale…
What a cr-p company I work for - the people let go today were not even given the package those leaving May 1 were. Unbelievable

Have watched the company turn from one ran by professional upstanding ethical people to now sc-m thugs that have replaced the Claim review process from one executed by human healthcare professionals to now processed by AI. This newest “CEO” seems he-l bent on bankrupting the company and destroying the stock value. I lost 100,000.00 almost overnight.
This is concerning for me. That’s the department I am in but I haven’t heard of anything. Typically that’s a good sign but I am seeing that if you’re in the meeting, you’re safe?

We were just in a meeting, everyone that was in that meeting survived. All those that received notifications were chopped today. Supposedly we will be good for the rest of the year. I am so glad I didn't take the severance. Holymoly that was the most stressful meeting in my life! But we are safe for now!
