Clearly not enough people opted for the VRSP so they had to start the layoffs. Very disappointing and sad.

Common practice in layoffs to disable termed employees immediately to protect corp assets from harm. Nothing personal. HR needs to read a legal approved script. They mute anyone on calls since questions go nowhere. The deed is done lick your wounds move on. First time hurts then you get tough skin

PEx don’t understand how they picked and choose who stayed who left , with UHC 24 yrs only in PEx for 6 months. It cr-ppy how they went about it. They made people feel like criminals, my router was off by 9pm last night. I absolutely have no words. Sorry to all that got laid off yesterday, it’s a sad situation.

Yes most of PEX was let go yesterday including our directors. Not sure how they selected those to stay and those who went and we can all do each other's work so who knows. Yes it was a very sad day.

Pex got hit hard. Down to about 80 or so people nationwide handling all Core accounts. They better not get rid of legal, they'll need them for all the arbitration they're gonna have

They have to make sure their stock holders are happy, make sure their CEOs and VPs are still going to get their lush and lavish salaries, and they can make more billions and billions of earnings year after year.

The company caused their own problems with the Change Healthcare data breach. The company has the stupidest leadership, who have no clue. If you try and give your input, they don't care, even though we have first hand knowledge.

All they would have to do uis cut some CEOs, and VPs. I don't know if they did or not, but they have a VP of Pens and Paper clips! Ok, slight exaggeration, but not much

Onshore Knowledge Management documentation writers for Consumer Services - almost all tenured writers. Gone. They told us all we were safe. Over 15 yrs with the company and a director i hardly knew read me a script and told me to log off. No thank you or im sorry. Absolutely wish the best to everyone still there. Its a shame.

Majority of Provider Service Dept (PEX) 95% were told today plus Recovery Team and Legal. Their "last day" is May 8.
This is outside of those who's signed for the resignation and last day is May 1.

3 E&I Supervisors out of Kingston, NY. They made them logoff immediately like if they had done something wrong. Families impacted. Shameful day for UHC.
