I've submitted questions for the town hall and they never get answered. I don't think they really take live questions, and I think they write the questions they do take themselves. Prior CEOs did live town hall meetings in a room full of people. They actually took questions from people in the room. I liked it better than the current format.
Wow, people are so negative on here. I thought this site was about riffs and not criticizing people. Some of these comments are petty.
MK used to be a good guy who cared. Somewhere along the way he lost his decency.
The whole call was embarrassing.
There was zero need for a “live” townhall. Having worked for United previously those were live town halls…rooms full of associates, Andrew on stage with several panels of experts in associated Org’s. Yes was the questions stage but at least there was connection. Horrible mistake in my career and now being led by Gail who wouldn’t give an associate the time of day.
Gail is completely disconnected from any piece of humanity within Elevance. She has done nothing but steer the ship into an iceberg and now is watching it slowly sink.
I can also say working in Carelon PI under CCA where we are drowning with zero life jackets of which the company has saved millions not supporting funding for imperative roles and services. It’s a nightmare everyday zero hope.
Mark is actually one of the better communicators at the company

Live questions?!? Yeah right. Do they really think they are fooling anyone with that. I mean, that financial question was so laden with jargon, there are very few within the company that could come up with a question like that, and you’re telling me this individual submitted it live??? LMAO Don’t even get me started on the “easy to do business with” and continue growing our huge-drag-on-resources sister company. Ugh
You can say what you want about United or even Blue plans but have you ever seen Gail actually really engage with team members ever? The answer is a hard no hard. Atleast other CEO’s travel to sites visiting and dialogue with associates.
I wonder if Rodney's team scans this site? This is the true associate survey comments they should be looking at.
LMAO. SLT cant handle a simple presentation. Sums it up pretty much the cluster we are.
So cost savings right? Did we need oversized leather lavish chairs in the “Executive Conference Room” there in Indianapolis…. gosh forbid the Executive team need to sit in a regular office chair.
The answer Msrk is Riffs. The only thing you know how to do to "control costs" is riff.
Say what you will, but BW has been one of the few bright spots for this company over the last several years. I'm not sure I'd call her recent move a demotion, but she is still one of this company's largest, genuine cheerleaders.
I think she truly does care about the health of humanity and the company associates. With all of the recent cr-p, I think she is starting to lose steam. Once that steam runs out and she decides to leave, LOOK OUT! The other leaders work much differently than she does.
Our “Northstar” is greed. Let’s not pretend it’s anything else.
