I am sure legal and comms leaders are reading these messages terrified we might reveal the truth about the dying Opentext.
What message would you give to those leaders.

Don't hire cowards. No one has any respect for them and will work as little as possible for them.
Mark should go into politics and start his own podcast… maybe run for governor of CA with all of his insights.
Why do we have an American as our CEO anyway? We are a Canadian company.
You ever work somewhere and just know the problem starts at the top? That’s the vibe here. The CEO is straight-up poison. Not in the dramatic movie villain way, but in that slow, drip-feed kind of way that ki-ls morale, trust, and any chance of real progress. Everything's about ego, control, and saving face. Good people leave, bad ideas stay. And somehow, it always feels like things get worse no matter how hard the rest of us try. Wild.
I can promise they read here hence why this website is now blocked with a firewall so you can’t access it through a work computer or web.
I am in the communication team and can confirm we read these posts periodically
I honestly don't believe they're reading any of this. All leaders care about one thing and one thing only. Catering two does spoiled brat bully narcissist we have at the very top.
The cult worship of Mark Barranchea our CEO and CTO represents the stupidity of the ELT. They're so breathless to have his attention that they're incapable of gainsaying his foolish plans and ideas. It's the reason the company has cratered. I'm glad I saw the writing on the wall and found a job elsewhere last fall.
Worked for one of their acquisitions and finally decided to bail out a while ago. The hypocrisy of the executive team is astounding. When COVID broke out, work from home was lauded as a way to protect the staff, but also because it allowed people, for example, mothers with kids at home, to have a better work/life balance. Now, all of a sudden, it's an impediment to productivity and collaboration. Additionally, we were frequently assured that open positions would be filled locally. The reality is that virtually every position went to India. Personally saw open positions remain remain that way until they could be shipped overseas. This in spite of the fact that there were current employees with 20+ years of experience who could have done the job while standing on their heads.
By far the worst company I have ever worked for, all egos, bluster and poor judgement from most leadership. Leadership: resign now, take your golden parachutes and let us be rid of you.
