Mark would rather let fear keep the locals inline than have the courage to send out an all clear, it's strategic. If he does, it won't be in his own words, he'll use his all knowing, all powerful AI to write a TL;DR thesis telling us how he spent his Saturday a month ago coming up with the list of names to layoff.

If you get an email from a director/manager that you've never spoken to...your time is up, it's not a friendly hello. Go ahead and start backing up your needed files now. Believe me...

Expect North America to likely continue until Wednesday. My expectation is that mark will then send an email telling everyone it’s done and why he had to do it (CoE, better together, AI, etc). Trying to wipe away responsibility.

EU will continue under the covers as they get approval to terminate I each country over the coming weeks.

Don't forget EU, they will be hit normally a few weeks after the Americas due to consultations/laws meaning they need notice

I'm sure they will. Numerous people I know have been scheduled to have meetings with directors and higher-ups.
