There’s a possibility that the layoffs may be focusing on virtual workers or those who haven’t fully complied with the return-to-office policy. Are you feeling uneasy about this?

NO ONE IS SAFE. Look at how many people are being let go. It spans across all depts, levels, regions, remote, everywhere. We are hearing about even people in CoE offices getting cut. This clown and his gonna do not care about anything except cost cutting. Period.
I was one of those cut. I'm blessed to have made it this long because they've had so many rounds of cuts, you sort of feel like it'll inevitably touch you or someone around you. Not trying be a martyr or anything, but I'm glad I got cut. I don't have any kids or a family and I know a lot of people on my team have a wife and kids, so I'd rather see them be safe. I'll figure my next move eventually, but there are some real good people left at OT and I hope they remain safe. At the end of the day, if you are unfortunate enough to have to go through this as well, all I can suggest to you is to keep your dignity and don't cry or beg when it happens because your dignity is all you have left. We'll all bounce back somehow. I dropped a prayer for everyone last night and you all make sure you stay prayed up too. Gone...
Yes, we should all be worried. You may get through this layoff but you won’t in the future unless you are an AE. Even though the majority of leaders at SVP and up are virtual in the US. There’s a target.
Provo Is (was) a center of excellence, and it got gutted. It honestly feels like they are trying to remove employees from the US. There aren't even any open job postings in the US, but there are in other locations.
All virtual/remote workers should be concerned.
Mark B loathes remote workers.
You all are skrewed BLUED and tattooed.
40% of US employees will be cut.
Virtual/remote is #1 target of Mark B's corporate diet.
All of enterprise sales is remote so I don’t see how they let them all go
That RTO email really rubbed people the wrong way — some even publicly showed their dissatisfaction using emojis.
If you are not office based in a Center of Excellence you will either be laid off or will never be approved for a promotion or pay raise until Mark Barren-shame leaves the company.
I figured remote employees were in trouble when MB stomped his feet about returning to the office (even though my office was closed down) and said no more remote employees would be hired. Today, I was let go.
Yes, I am very concerned. I have been classified "remote" since before covid and was told the RTO policy did not apply to me. The ultimatum language used in the initial announcement of the policy made me nervous. Feels like OT is just looking for excuses to push folks out.
