From 2021 - Windstream was named a Top Most Loved Workplace because of its commitment to establishing a supportive, innovative and creative culture that empowers employees. To get this award you needed to apply for Best Practice Institute and each entry generally requires a fee, depending on the specific award and any additional marketing services requested.
They could try running the company better, or pay someone to claim it is a good place to work - you can see the route taken by management

Just because our stock hit the pink sheets doesn’t mean we’re going bankrupt…. Hahaha welp we went bankrupt in a matter of weeks. Didn’t help we had 2 clueless heads thinking we could we a lawsuit.
That Windstream does not discriminate based on race, s-x, or religion.
How bout "this is not a sale-leaseback"
My favorite lie was when they outsourced NOC SMB customers to India and Mexico. Told us they were only here to help us and not take our jobs. IR was a bad liar.
We're a growth company now.
That CLEC would be a growth engine. That the GreenStreakin' rap video was money well spent. That promoting Kinetic streaming to a base overwhelmingly on 3MB was a good idea. That accountants could run any department. That SMB should be with Enterprise --> no wait, Consumer --> no wait, Enterprise --> no wait, Consumer. That the company's poor performance was because - we just needed to hire better talent.
Software Powerhouse was always great. We rebranded zoom (or was it go2meeting?) and called it our own. Once customers figured that out the whole thing went out the window.
That no more layoffs were planned. They've told that one SEVERAL times.
Software Powerhouse was a good one.
