Those days are long gone. The current leadership has made it clear they don't value their team. We have to suffer through constant disrespect, empty promises, and decisions that only benefit the top. Why break your back for executives who wouldn't recognize real effort if it hit them in the face? Do your job, but save your passion for something that actually deserves it. They've shown who they are. Believe them.

The only people that are happy at Suncor are the overpaid people from Imperial that Rich poached.
I have recently joined Suncor and see such a low morale it is disheartening. I understand fully where this is coming from as I have heard the stories. I hope the leaders at SUncor realize that the low morale leads to less engagement and less productivity . The attitude needs to change from the top down on this one.... or the company will never "win"
Ya it’s definitely hard to be motivated. Especially when the Freddy Kruger theme at Suncor has taken over everything. We witnessed some people that gave 110% in everything they did get laid off. Basically you can be a top performer and still get laid off, that’s from Freddy’s fu-kery. If anyone sees him anywhere in Calgary give him the middle finger and tell him to please fu-k off back to the states where he belongs.
I gave up on Suncor a while ago and started looking for something new about a year back. The problem is the job market still su-ks, so I’m stuck here for now. Not by choice, just by lack of better options.
