Impressive how management has been laying everyone off, offshoring non-stop, and losing business... And still managed to blow out the budget this badly.

Outside of real fraud, this has to be one of the worst managed banks in the US

Leadership has been talking organic growth since 2018, but it isn't happening, bank is not growing with its peers in any business lines and the bill is coming due for the balance owed MUFG on the Union Bank debacle and Tier II capital requirement, cutting the talented staff and moving operations does not generate new revenue for these obligations and in reality simply alienates clients, customers, shareholders and the Wall Street analysts you need to attract never investors

You don’t build a successful business by obsessively pinching pennies. Sure, in the short term, it makes the balance sheet look pretty, but give it some time, and you’ll be the textbook definition of “penny wise, pound foolish.”
The big question isn’t how they’ll grow, it’s whether anyone up top even has a clue what direction they’re facing. But hey, at least they’re saving a few bucks, right?

We need to start blasting US Bank on social media. One thing they don't want companies and people to know is they are outsourcing jobs to India. As a client facing worker, I can tell you firsthand they will lose a ton of business, especially from Union clients.

After years of layoffs and not replacing people, we are already under what it takes to run the department. We are at a non-functioning level already, all the "saves/cost take a ways" have left us with no one to do the work.

She needs to can people, starting from the Managing Committee level, if she’s going to have any hope of salvaging this company.

Wish one one hand, P e e in the other and see which fills up first, thinking that the leadership and the consultant that have put the bank in the ditch for a decade will be the ones to correct those wholesale errors in judgment should be criminal, shareholders should be outraged
