I need the lucky ones to stop saying how great it is outside of MetLife. We know. Trust us, we all know. Most of us are trying to leave, but the job market su-ks right now. You have to be really lucky to land something actually worth leaving for. So please, stop rubbing salt in the wound and just enjoy the fact that you got lucky. Please?

I agree with the PTSD comment. I worked in STD AND then LTD. It was horrible, waking up in the middle of the night with these claimants running through my head. The complete lack of support from ULs, just pushing more and more claims and telling us that “there’s people on other teams handling this with ease” 🙄. So relieved to be gone .
MetLife gave me PTSD.
Oh yeah, this place is a real gem. I mean, who wouldn't want to bask in the glow of such "brilliant" team members and those oh-so-"inspiring" leaders, tirelessly working to, you know, bring out the best in everyone (eye roll). And please, let's not even mention the complete absence of self-preservation, ignorance, or complacency – it's truly a magical unicorn of a workplace.
And the benefits? Please! The 401k match, pension, and health plans are so unbelievably generous, it's a wonder other companies even bother. Honestly, the hordes of eager applicants practically breaking down the doors are a testament to just how utterly fantastic it is here. Why would anyone ever consider leaving this utopia? It's beyond comprehension.
