Also, until now employees with 10+ years of service in any band could earn up to 224 hours. Exempt or non-exempt. I think years of service should entitle people to more time. That’s not changing.
Yes, people in higher bands started with more PTO regardless of years of service. But that is part of their earned compensation.
In the new policy for B6+, yes, it’s unlimited but it’s doubtful most would take more than 224 hours/year. It would be difficult. I never have and I have been here a long time. And this level has no carryover or payout either.
So for those trying to fan the flames on this topic, get the facts first. Some will complain anyway or accuse me of being a spy. I’m not. Sorry to ruin your conspiracy theory.
