Bye All
We will miss you!
I would have said February 2000 just after selling all your stock but to each their own.
Pls try your best to stay, being old is very easy to be LRed and even harder to get hired again.
So stay for an inevitable LR then try to get hired again with the stigma of being laid off. You ARE a Cisco employee!
Here's an idea. Bulk up on skills and build a professional network and be interviewing in the background. If a better situation appears take it on your terms, not your current employer (this is not unique to Cisco.)
Was coasting for a long time at cisco. Then LR dropped and finally was let go. Got a better gig at a competitor. You served my interests well cisco. Onwards and upwards for me.
Pls try your best to stay, being old is very easy to be LRed and even harder to get hired again.
Since Cisco is being stubborn like Harvard with dropping their racist and illegal DEI programs now is a great time to leave.
I think it's your fl-tulence.
Look at the all hamsters at this company wondering what their overlord will do next. Run at the wheel and stop complaining.
Attrition seems to be on an upswing. Everyone I know is looking to exit.
I considered waiting for the next LR, but external opportunity knocked, and it feels good to be exiting. The toxic culture is wearing. ELT members b,t@$ about all the long time employees who rest and vest. But really, that’s what comes with a culturing regular reorgs and limited restructures.
please wait for LR package !!
