So this dude orchestrated the departure of Gretchen and Nikki, he gets put in to cover Asia and now lots of the team are getting fired.
When will he leave. I can’t wait to see how Europe does in H1 and then he and maybe his team get it?

I think his biggest issue is he doesn't understand the business especially strategic direction ( yet he takes credit for everything positive that happened before him). He pushes to fire strat growth functions because he doesnt understand what they do. He and Everett are ki-ling commercial. Gretchen got herself fired.. he would have just let it happen, Nicki was a threat to him and his plan so he got rid of her. Illumina is a mess and needs to be cleaned up but it would be good if they got guidance from the field rather than slicing off exceptional talent and listening to dodgy mentees who have an agenda.
He was offered the CCO role before his family situation changed. Nothing is holding him back now. He’s a sn---r from the side, trust me, he is very ambitious

He isn’t gunning for CCO. He was offered it originally but wouldn’t relocate. As far as Nicki and Gretchen goes, I think that was a huge mistake but I really am not informed enough to understand the details.
Ummm Europe is the only region growing. "This individual" has arguably done an admirable job...I don't know the details of what happened to Nikki and Gretchen but I do know they both are landing on their feet and are both well respected in the industry so if anything they're gonna be happy to be off the sinking ship...

The individual you are speaking about was Interim CCO and was part of the recruitment process for Everett. Very well respected and has helped drive good performance in the region. Just to add some balance and insight.
