SEC APLA Activation.....below the line
It used to have a valuable purpose until Accenture took over or was it CF? Or are they the same thing ?
They should bring back the original leaders of SEC as they were the only ones who actually knew what they were doing.
shutting down after spending ~800 million is a joke. finish the god damn EMEA implementation. ACN implementation is going to be a pathetic anyways..
Nike should drive roll outs for the rest of the countries with baselined employees while stabilizing the rollouts.
What “value” is being delivered for Customers? Whether wholesale, digital, or our stores, is all status quo or moving backwards in functionality. Architecture? Joke. Reliability? None. Performance? Exponentially worse/slower. Maintenance? Exponentially more. Fixing broken? Way harder (no documentation, no ownership). Moving the business forward? Not.
Everything we do should be about making things better for Customers. Universal principle of a Retail business is making Customers happy to make money. We’re not listening to our Customers.
Classic CS moving to AP and apla is disbanding post, just in a different.
Shutting down SEC at this point is like finishing building the Empire State Building then saying “let’s not put anyone in there or buy office supplies to finish it out.”
Would be asinine, but wouldn’t be surprised if LT knee je-ked
There is value delivered (multinode inventory capability being one of them). RDC/PDC capability for greater inventory flexibilty. Also it makes no sense to shut it down when two GEOs are on one version of SAP and two others on another. Everything I've heard is that EMEA is on track for January Go Live, & the GEO team is planning accordingly. Not sure who is saying that SEC is shutting down, it's a strategic unlock that leaves us worse if we abandon ship mid-initiative. Not saying it's perfect, but it's a long term investment that we'd be insane to abandon mid-way.
SEC is and pretty much always has been a dumpster fire. Let’s throw more good money after bad. Thank God that B TT is gone.
Maybe you heard that the prez is going to shut down the real sec……
JD threatened to shut it down if they missed a deadline … they missed the deadline and still it stayed alive. It won’t ever d’e
Man I remember about ten years ago when they started up SEC. It has been about five generations of folks working on that program, turning over getting fired or quitting.
Wasn’t SEC always meant to be a short term set up? After however many years since inception, what all did they accomplish? Not hating. Just curious.
Is CS is taking over sec and moving to apla.
This should have happend long time ago. When is the announcement? However, that is a lot of $$$ in drain and a pause effectively means that we will have higher costs when we may come around..
