Thread regarding Seagate Technology Inc. layoffs

Yeah, the entire HR goal at Seagate seems to be attempting to manipulate employees into thinking they are appreciated instead of actually doing anything to help them out for all the hard work. Example. Spark. Has IT blocked that website yet too? Remember to compare your bonus to the CEO this summer and they think it's fair. 😂

I haven’t worked at Seagate since 12/2022. Life goes on and it is way better than Seagate. I do miss 2 hour lunches every day at the LCO country club😂

how could anywhere in this industry, what’s left of it, be much better because we’re the survivors of the ‘90s & ‘2000s consolidations, but EVERYWHERE is not the same, perhaps some are better than others interviewing potential employers

Western Digital is not much better...

But ya know, speaking of the pointy haired boss satire strip....EVERY place I've worked, its a reflection of the state of affairs shown in it. So what am I saying? Its exactly the same everywhere. You have to just be lucky if you land at a place that is tolerable.
