Thread regarding Illumina Inc. layoffs

It’s sad to see some of brightest people being let go. How you keep morale up when you are laying off people every month? Sad

Illumina is sinking. Multi-tier directors must also take responsibility! They don't do real work except for having seated meetings. They make decisions to lay off talented employees who contribute a lot to the company. They should be the ones to go instead!!!

When leadership makes poor decisions that hurt the team or the company long-term — like cutting high-performing employees. It can tank morale, productivity, and trust. In many cases, it's not the workers who are the problem, but the decision-makers at the top!
