glad he finally left CTC…
I left feeling slightly more positive then then I was at the start. I reckon he seems better then that last 2 we've had.
I’m surprised leadership of the ABU wasn’t centralised with other asset classes.
Why does ABU need such a high profile leader for a shrinking workforce in steady state operations?
Doesn’t matter who leads ABU or elsewhere, they contribute nothing to the hydrocarbons coming out of the asset and making it safely to our customers, that’s done by the Production team at site with all of us in supporting roles on site and in Perth helping them with whatever they need to do it safely and reliably. We are very well compensated for what we do, the grass is not greener in any other peer company. Nobody here left a job that paid more, offered more workplace flexibility etc etc. This is the most stressful job i have ever had coupled with the best compensation package that makes it worthwhile.
1te isn't abu boots on the ground get to sites press the flesh
My thoughts are that Chevron completely overuses the words 'Leader' and 'Leadership'. This guy is the same as most of his predecessors, who were also 'Leaders of our Time'. Put simply, if you can't organise a bk up in a broth with a fist full of fift***, you're not a Leader. Looking at the way this whole re-org has been managed, gives you a good view of how great our Leaders are. This guy is part of that same club, make no mistake.
All these "leaders" are looking out for themselves...

BK was assigned to ABU to reduce employee staff and replace the ABU workers with future employees from the ENGINE. In 2 to 3 years the ABU employee workforce will be cut by 50%.
BK is only out for BK, he will throw the employees to garbage bin when he is done using them.
When he talks watch his body language. he has been coached by a professionals and all his movements are scripted, then when he talks about something that he needs to mislead the truth his body language breaks from script. You can tell when he is lying...
I’m not gonna be around long enough to care.
