Sign me up. Colorado has become so crowded, expensive, and Californicated, it is no longer the same place I grew up.

@23a+1jrvytkmc trolling much
So funny to see so many MN people trying to come up with excuses to justify living in a cr-ppy state. He He! ;) come to think of it, it is a blue state, so what should we expect?
Tornadoes? Those are not tornadoes, those are little ropes from the sky. We don't get anything more than an F3 and even those are rare.
Occasional tornadoes an blizzards. Eff'ing cold weather. Warm weather for about three months. Could be worse...
No hurricanes, flash wildfires, mudslides or hurricanes as well. You'll have to learn how to hot dish though.
There is tax rate and then there is tax burden. The latter is counting everything like tabs, sales tax, etc. MN ranks 7th there. The rates between 7th and 15th are statistically close so I don't even see them as an outlier when all is considered. Higher side of the distribution for sure but you also get your highways plowed, no shortage of nature and plenty of fresh water.
Highest tax rate MN, if you like giving your money away, great place to live.

The Core Team Lead will have to move...
@j5+1jrvytkmc. knows cr-ppy only complains
@j5+1jrvytkmc."Right I have no idea about how cr-ppy my state is after living here my whole life." Knows cr-ppy and lives in it their whole life!
@14x+1jrvytkmc stereotype much, so tell us you're a real fitness bada$$
Because of the Normandale facility ... it only makes sense to close LCO and keep Shakopee. Why fly people between MN and Colorado? The savings due to travel expense and shipping materials makes keeping LCO the wrong decision.
Heard most people are overweight in MN, to cope with the cold you need extra layers of fat! This came from someone who lived in MN for 10 years. Most people in CO are fit, weather is great so people are more active. So, you are just jealous.
MN over LCO all day
Ahhh, a Magat who can't find work in a red state. Would you like cheese with your whine?
MN is a cr-p hole period.
The only way to appreciate the downside of a location is if you have experience living elsewhere. Minnesota certainly has problems like weather and taxes, but there are definitely worse places to be.
Right I have no idea about how cr-ppy my state is after living here my whole life. Just a fact less perception of an opinion. Ooooo that sounds so high minded and above it all. Can borrow that? I must try to find the real truth about my state by listening to a word salad and being unburdened by what has been
@g5+1jrvytkmc well put
buying into divisive agendas is a fools game as is posting disparaging comments about any State solely based on one’s perception or fact-less opinion
Take it for what it's worth from a MN resident. A real estate friend told me there is a lot of interest in availability from outside the state from people residing in red states who are looking to move to a friendlier state. So yeah, it can get cold but freedom is sometimes worth it.
The MN and CO pay differential has gotten so huge that it’s getting close to 50% cheaper to hire in MN vs CO as well. And we know what Seagate really loves? The cheapest possible labor. Might even make up for the high taxes a bit.
I certainly would rather live elsewhere. It’s not the cold that stings the most though. It’s the insanely high tax theft by the government of most of your money you worked for. And as we know it’s mostly wasted. Unfortunately like Seagate I’m also to embedded to move now.
