Thread regarding Elevance Health (Anthem) layoffs

Health Solutions Group Chat

What’s the word on the street… DEI hire COO SH still driving all Provider operations into the ground? Provider and member data still being offshored illegally? SPS and system feeds still inoperable? RIFs still at an all time high?

What is SPS and why is it in health solutions?

SH is clueless when it comes to Provider Directory oversight. Maybe he is a United Healthcare nepo baby who is just here for the riches. Never forget the Mental Health provider directory issue in New York which made it to Federal Court. SH is completely unfit for the job regardless of the color of his skin. Health Solutions has been in shambles since he joined EH Credentialing, provider suppression, provider directory updates, UM, Claims and his so called implementation of the worst source system in America SPS. Hey hey ho ho SH has got to go.

How is a dead dental provider a DEI issue? SH just su-ks. Don’t make this a DEI thing. SH is a middle aged white guy. Give me a break.

Must be a lot of DEI there.

I was looking for a dental provider on the anthem website. Called one that was close to my home.

I was told that dentist was dead. Had been for more than 2 years.

Aren't provider directories updated annually?

And how do you credential a dead guy?

Why does it look like he asked this question himself? He should know he's still running a shiitshow.

Wasn't the team that destroyed SPS.

IT WAS ABSOLUTELY LEADERSHIP

Everything will stay thr same, except we are literally changing everything.

Building without incorporating changes of past that you can do better, and future changes for efficiency and simplicity is a recipe for disaster.

All while praise and money is thrown at the poor leadership.

Ah, the great con. Dude falls into the accessibility category of DEIA due to his mental illness. A narcissistic white man who has perfected the art of playing the victim while maintaining his iron grip on power.

From leading operational failures in claims and health solutions business units over the past 5 years, this dude has shown that he can’t be meritorious.

Yes to most everything. SPS is terrible. Much of provider data org is being RIF’d or has been RIF’d. S.H. And team always disregarded what business partners had to say ahead of migrations and had they listened we would not be dealing with the level of issues in some cases years post migration. Total cluster. And yet he got a promotion. Shows how executive leadership is so shielded from the cr-ppy decisions made daily.
