It’s win win, at least for the winners

Another week, and set of crazy macroeconomic surprises. Black swans falling from the sky like passenger pigeons. This whole reorg exercise is supposed to be about competitiveness. At least as measured by short term financial metrics. But it’s such a global $h1tshow right now that our relative outcome is a dice roll. Logic would dictate pausing until the dust settles. Maybe we need all these people. Maybe we need a tenth. Who knows.

What I do know is that regardless of CVX finishing first or last in rankings, our leaders will be fine.
