Huge dirty 10 year old Dell tower sitting on the floor.
SNGA.... need a red hat?
Football season is over! Sunday night is great again.
I miss Sunday night football and so I am very sad as well
I'm sad on Fridays. I try to work every weekend for OT.
Work is overrated. I rather play video games all day and have the government send me $$$
If you don't like the job....start watching Indeed or ZipRecruiter and find a new one that maybe will be better. Grass is always greener right?
And to the other poster about the dingy office...yeah I've been there. My dads company was like that too...he never put money into the buildings.
I WFH, so my office is nice. Its my house. My other office, haven't been there for months is a windowless room that is just a room. But I don't care, they pay well, have decent perks, and the work is engaging. Find a job that engages you mentally and emotionally.
I hear veterans dont hate sunday nights....
So stop making the stuff...we would love to take all of honeywells business. In another year we will but hang in there..
That sounds depressing AF.
Then again, you've chosen to stick with that dismal scene year after year, so you only have yourself to blame.
There are other work environments out there where you could put your skills to use, where the surroundings are more modern, clean, upbeat, and interesting.
Do you enjoy being stuck in a puddle of oatmeal?
I worked in an environment such as that, and put up with it for 2 years. Left without even having anything else lined up, too...I just couldn't stand it any more. Found another job which paid a lot more, and the physical atmosphere was 100% better.
People (and corporations) treat you the way you allow them to treat you.
You can do better.
Another decade of that is too long to continue being miserable.
i work in a circa 1980s cubical with nothing but a dirty chair and a monitor. flair? not sure about your site but i havent seen a free shirt, mouse pad, or pin since the early 2000's. zip, nada. sometimes they give out stupid candy bars at the door.. usually a week before telling us they plan to charge anyone with bmi>26 a fat surcharge on insurance.
they tell me our site generates 1.5 billion a year in revenue. apparently not enough to make the place presentable. honestly my children grew up and never visited my office. I was too embarrased to bring them. honestly i dont care anymore. show up, go home, never talk to anyone. retired in place i guess. 10 more years. same as everyone i know including my last 2 bosses.
Next you'll be telling us you only wear 15 pieces of flair. A real Futureshaper would have at least 37.
