I’m not interested in hearing a spew of vomit and ranting about Allstate or a bunch of nonsense based on no facts. Does anyone know why there are multiple total loss reports. Does it appear that if the customer gets an attorney, the ACV goes up? Is overseas handling total loss?

As a 10 year agent I have never had a complaint from a customer regarding TL payout. During 2021 and 2022 people overpaid and even when they didn't have gap they didnt blame allstate for the shortage on the TL payout.
@gr+1jrkmbx8b It do be like dat. It do.
As a total loss adjuster. I have never offered more bc they had an attorney. You going to get whatever the CCC says, atty or not. If they dispute, I call CCC and do a dispute. Sometimes it goes up. Sometimes it don't. We do be low balling tho, sometimes. When I have called CCC and it don't go up. You got to go thru ur insurance and sub. Or my driver has to invoke their app clause. But atty does not scare us. We do not care..

Multiple reasons. CCC spat out info based on the VIN but an option was missed - gotta rerun the eval. If a TL adjuster changes anything for any reason, like updates mileage, adds or changes a vehicle package, expands the market search area, adds comps from the customer for consideration, etc, you have to rerun the eval.
Also just because an attorney is involved doesn't mean squat. Most of the time they rep only for injuries. Allstate doesn't run the eval, that comes from CCC based on literally tons of points of data, we don't lowball anything. There is very little room for negotiations in TL. We owe for the car you had, taking into consideration all the dents and dings, and all the bells whistles. Sorry your car was a piece of junk before it got hit, I owe you the value of your junk, not a new car.
Idk about Allstate India, seems like they handle the easiest total losses, and send an offer via email. If it's not accepted it goes to someone on shore to handle. I think.
Allstate has its problems and I don't trust them to not eliminate my role at any time for any reason, but we are fair when paying customers. Being mad because you don't understand insurance isn't a problem heavily regulated insurance companies care about.
There are multiple total loss reports on thousands of claims. I can’t remember ever just seeing just 1-3 reports. If the insured gets an attorney, the total loss value goes up at least part of the time. Just curious if Allstate is low balling ACV values.
REPORTED and will be REMOVED. why don’t you ask the Total loss rep in the file dum dum.
