I would say it increases by the day.

This is my last post. Good luck mates! I am out of this rat race. Onto bigger and better things, grass is greener when you are not at C-gate! :)
Managed to survive 30 layoffs in the last 11 years, but I got hit this last time and I am happy about it, don’t have to worry about the depressing atmosphere you people still live in, got my money and I am finally free. Good luck!
Hmmm, somehow us "old and unhealthy looking people" who are still here managed to perform well enough to never be caught up in any layoffs. They've been hiring kids over the last year, whose going to mentor them? Before you shade on older employees, I'd love to see your credentials and reviews that place you in a position to pass judgement over those you likely don't even have contact with.
Get ready for another round.
The company is being run to the ground, but execs feel better as they off load more employees to pay for dividends. Wink!
Seagate US is hollowed out. Mainly old and unhealthy looking people still around all sending PPT status slides back and forth to each other. Lots of room now to install drive FOF lines and bring back production to the states if needed. LFGH.
Not much left to layoff is there? Parking lot and the cube farms are empty as well. You say what about management? Too bad they are considered understaffed especially at the VP level and above, they are looking to hire more. So where would the get a meaning full number to layoff??
Layoffs are penciled in, you bet! Always.
Who are the losers on this message board?
Well yeah. It’s Seagate. If you would have all just listened to me years ago and chilled out and quiet quit you’d feel better about things. But if you want to go ahead and burn out your soul for a company that will lay you off for your reward be my guest. You should be sitting in a big emergency fund too if you work for this company. They don’t give a damn about you. Only you can help you.
