Have seen a few instances of individuals being abruptly and quietly laid off or fired over the last few weeks. Anyone else seeing this? Is this more broad than just Nike Tech?

Exits are happening today but no mass emails will be going out.
2 HR VPs exited. MA and CW. MA long overdue. Hope Nordstrom mafia and MA favorites like KLD are next.
Three positions eliminated from my team today.
Roles are being eliminated, but not at scale. Normal course of business for Nike.
I just wish we could figure out what the heck we’re doing in recruiting. Lay a bunch of recruiters off. Hire a bunch of recruiters. Lay a bunch of recruiters off. Hire more recruiters. The planning is terrible.
There’s layoffs going on, just not at a grand scale, 2-3 people here and there. It’s not just technology.
People quit and get fired all the time. Doesn’t mean there are layoffs.
Layoffs generally come with getting rid of recruiters. Which we are not, we are doubling down.
Keep it real. In a company as big as Nike there is always someone getting fired every day.
I have seen 2 of my previous colleagues having a de-activated account...so silent lay offs are going on for sure.
I came here to post about this. Yes, it has been going on. I cannot comment about the specific employees but this has been going on. Also, McKinsey consultants are back to WHQ
Nike Tech doesn't exist any longer. It's been Global Tech for years.
