Coming here everyday just reaffirms that we have more than enough left coast losers to rid ourselves of. Not a fan of MW, but definitely not a fan of employing those who vote against their own interests.

The Great Layoff of 2015 was a JW's kneejerk reaction to $38/BBL crude prices. There was an actual cash crunch with that one. The company stayed solvent, but the layoffs which slashed the more experienced but highly paid expats crippled several projects, notably TCO FGP. FGP is coming on line 7 years late.
I strongly disagree. I believe most of these posters trolls are CVX employees on a mission that is coordinated by leadership to deflect damage and dilute outrage with political nonsense. I am pretty sure there is a Legal and HR component, but this is probably being managed by an upper level highly trusted manager and carried out by folks who think their activity will save them from the purge. Credible denial. One can see the flags if you know what to look for.

A lot of CVX's US production has high lifting costs. CVX, as well as other oil companies, are bleeding money at current oil prices. DJT was supposed to help the oil industry, and he is destroying it. The US rig count is going down, not up. Drill baby drill is a joke just like the Orange one. It seems like he is trying to destroy the USA.
THIS is what they meant by energy emergency. One we create for no reason that benefits no one.
