Thread regarding Suncor Energy Inc. layoffs

Suncor stock sitting at prices where the layoffs of 2023 were.

So Suncor stock is sitting at a nice $44.94 close price on April 8th. This is about the same price that Suncor stock was at back during the mass layoffs of 2023.

Like what a WASTE, all of Rich Krugers efforts are just absolutely wasteful and distasteful. Absolutely wasted effort, a blood bath for us all for nothing. Congratulations on your wasted garbage win Kruger, because in the end everything you did, didn’t even matter.

Go back to America where you belong Kruger.

Also anyone notice how stingy the dividend from Suncor pays? They only recently gave what a minuscule 5% raise of a dividend that was only yielding on average what a low 4% and sometimes lower to the stock price… so basically around a 0.2% increase in the dividend on yield. I would never ever buy Suncor’s cheap blood money stock to support the Freddy Kruger horror sh-t show. Freddy Kruger is gouging that money for stock buybacks to try and increase his own bonus. Cheap, stingy, thief. Almost nothing is being invested back into Suncor, instead the blood money is invested to bleed out in the stock price. I can’t believe anyone from Suncor, or anyone from Canada can actually support Kruger. He is prioritizing Buybacks, OVER investing in Suncor, OVER investing in Suncor’s people, OVER investing in Alberta, OVER investing in Canada, OVER increasing dividends. Because he just wants to increase his share option bonus that is totally based on Suncor’s stock price which is his compensation. I’d love to see every single employee at Suncor stand up in his town hall meeting and give him the finger. I’d tell him to please fu-k off back to the states right to his face right in his face if I ever see him.

Suncor stock $48.38 on May 5th, I seen it drop as low as $44 in early April. Ya I get the whole market did a Tariff Trump Dump, but all that blood money from Freddy Kruger is really just all bleeding out from the stock price anyways. So what’s the point! What did he say his goal was to keep the stock above $50.00? Krugers work is just a sh-t show I don’t understand how anyone in Canada can have any respect for Mr. Freddy Kruger and he needs to wipe that crooked grin off his face for good. He should be investigated and removed as Suncor CEO for ripping off Canada. He doesn’t deserve such pay at all. It’s nothing but theft at a very high level from my perspective. Did you see any Canadian indexes or ETFs increase their allocation towards SU as a result of Freddy’s horror show? NOPE the market is treating the stock the same as it was treated before. So it’s all a wasted effort basically, with Freddy ripping us all off.

Rich Kruger has DEEP disrespect for all of Canadians, Suncor workers. And those that he flushed down the toilet to take credit for stock pump money. No respect for Kruger at all. In a perfect world Kruger’s actions would be 100% illegal. He served Canada like a piece of sh-t. If you are liberal and you understand Kruger’s crimes you would be on him like a fox. Even if you are a conservative he should be investigated fully for his actions for profits DOES NOT benefit Canada or Alberta. I HIGHLY recommend Kruger should be investigated on a federal level or ad a provincial level: and even though if the law is liberal or conservative Kruger should be prosecuted or at least investigated for his interests in putting AMERICAN investment OVER CANADIAN NET benefit. He is definitely a net negative on CANADA, ALBERTA, for Preimier Danielle Smith and prime minster Marc Carney

Hello @OP+1jrbhbjz4 … as one of those terminated (that was the word used by HR) in summer of 2023 … all I can say is “Ha Ha - Thank Goodness”. I got a huge payout. I collected EI. I have a new WFH position supporting a Suncor competitor. And most of all … I never have to worry about Freddie’s thoughts on the company, on the industry, or Canada again.
