In three to five years, Chevron will be sold and gone. Bled dry by the LT and assisted by upper PSGs feeding the Zombie to keep their paychecks coming, while the worker bees will be run off or outsourced and the infrastructure will rot.
The Chevron shills will say “Chevron or any company at that, owes you nothing. “
But was not Chevron the company that always said “Chevron's vision is to be the global energy company most admired for its people, partnership and performance.” Was not Chevron the company that said its workers were “Human Energy.” I remember in my orientation and the endless CSOC and CPDEP training, how much Chevron expected the employees to take personal ownership. It was a day’s work for a day’s pay.
Now, Chevron has stabbed its employees in the back after decades of loyal service. Enjoy your last years.

Nope. Look at the pattern of downvoting. And the fact that you are looking at old posts. Well, it will help you hold onto your jobs.
Ain't no "they". If your posts suk, they suk. get over it.
Yes indeed - I say that whenever they downvote me too!
Wow, 106 downvotes!! And they seem to happen in blocks of around 30 real quickly. Been watching this farce go down, just in case someone wants to say Chevron tries to manipulate this board.
Not just this post, btw. The posts that really sting hard all get the pile-on treatment.
I'll be out of this hot dog stand either way by that point. I don't really care.
I guess Chevron Damage Control must have gotten chewed out today. 70 downvotes appeared out of nowhere recently.
Learn to code, you global warming losers. Not a joke!
The gravy train is over. Don’t blame the people who stirred the gravy for years. We all enjoyed it and it’s coming to an end. Adapt or head out.
I can’t decide which to do personally.
It was all fine and dandy sharing the Kool-aid when Chevron wasn't getting their socks licked by just about every competitor.
At some point, you accept that the world has changed. Learn to compete or off to the glue factory. Skilled and motivated engineers, geologists, or finance professionals will do just fine.
Maybe apply at a small family owned business for your next roll, Snowflacke.
This is any major corporation and always have been. The only thing that has changed are the expectations of the more recently hired employees. Trying to be as polite as I can.
