Anyone know if care managers are getting cut, and if so, when?

for the home care team, all of the behavioral health team was laid off. Not sure if any job is truly “safe” within the organization right now.
I’d bet CM supervisors and LC reduction before they touch CMs

Corporations are bound by law to be as profitable as legally possible for their shareholders.
Also, corporations can only operate within the guardrails established by state & federal government. It is probably worth your time to research which elected officials have built & profited from this system for nearly 100 years.
You knew this was a publicly traded for-profit company operating within a privatized healthcare system when you applied and then accepted the offer. If you hate the company AND the industry, there are tons of nonprofits you can apply to. Just know they don’t typically pay much and have bad or no benefits.
It’s too late to put on your hero’s cape now. It’s hypocritical.
CMS are not why we are here. We are here to take people’s money and figure out how to pay as little claims as possible. Deny. Delay. Defend.

And yes. CMs will be laid off, just like everyone else. No one is safe. Good luck!
Care Managers are the most important people at Cigna. They’re the reason we’re all here. I would be shocked if any CMs are laid off.
Any evernorth BH advocates getting cut? Guessing not because it’s a sh-t job and it seems like they are always hiring on account of the high turnover. Can’t wait to escape the EBH sweatshop (and boy am I trying)… I cannot fathom how my coworkers are doing this without going insane.
Anyways OP, I have no idea about layoffs for EBH CMs but depending on if you want to be booted or not, May the odds be ever in your favor tips fedora
