I hope not. I feel for the people affected by the closures, but I'm holding out hope that the rest of us, working in facilities not yet slated for closure, are relatively safe. My concern is the worsening economic conditions. After all, any job is better than none.

No job is ever safe, even ours.
Volume is low plus the tariffs have caused prices to go up already by early gougers. Consumers are only buying food and possible wartime bare necessities mostly. This is not good for package handler businesses that depend on huge volumes of purchases.
Most part time preloaders/shift workers already have 2nd jobs elsewhere to supplement income just in case.
